Behind the Mic | The Return Series

What Stayed With Me

Tuesday I shared a story called The Ache of Gratitude.

It was about saying goodbye.

Watching my daughter walk toward her gate.

Watching my son drive away in his RV with his family.

Realizing that after all these years...

They know.

They know they're loved.

They know they always have a place to come home to.

They know the porch light is always on.

Then, just a day later, I sat down with Claudia Taboada to talk about something completely different.

Or so I thought.

We talked about muscle.

Protein.

Menopause.

Strength.

But somewhere during our conversation, I realized we were talking about the very same thing.

Maintenance.

What I'm Thinking About

Legacy isn't built in one family vacation.

Health isn't built in one workout.

Confidence isn't built in one good decision.

They're built...

One choice.

One prayer.

One workout.

One meal.

One conversation.

One pause...

...at a time.

That's what struck me after Claudia and I finished recording.

The strongest things in our lives aren't created in one breakthrough.

They're created because we keep showing up.

Again.

And again.

That's true for our muscles.

It's true for our marriages.

It's true for our children.

It's true for the stories they'll someday tell about us.

Maybe that's why my airport story and Claudia's message felt so connected.

Both reminded me that the life we hope to have tomorrow...

...is built by the choices we continue making today.

One of my favorite parts of hosting the Delay the Binge™ Podcast is introducing you to people whose work is making a real difference.

This week is no exception.

If Tuesday's story, The Ache of Gratitude, resonated with you, I think you'll find yourself making the same connection I did. While the story reminds us that legacy is built one loving choice at a time, Claudia reminds us that our health is built the very same way.

Because you're part of this community, you're receiving early access to this week's episode before it's released publicly tomorrow. Thank you for being here and for allowing me to share these conversations with you first.

I've also created a dedicated Guest Feature Page for Claudia where you can learn more about her inspiring journey, explore her STRONG Method, connect with her online, and download her free protein guide.

One Question Before You Go

After reading The Ache of Gratitude and reflecting on Claudia's message...

What are you building today that will still matter years from now?

Whether it's your health...

Your family...

Your faith...

Or simply the habits that shape who you're becoming...

Remember...

The strongest things in life aren't built all at once.

They're built one faithful choice at a time.

Pam

Pause.
Choose.
Build momentum.
Finish stronger.

Until next time...

❤️ I'll leave the porch light on.
